Lisa Marks has been a mainstay in the Canadian corporate events industry for over 15 years and is an advocate for the advancement of the live events industry globally. As the owner of Brand Alive Inc., a Calgary-based event strategy and management company, Lisa is an expert in crafting smart event strategy, a skill she honed as the former Head of Events at Shaw Communications. Together with her award-winning team at Brand Alive, Lisa produces world-class events for corporations, non-profits, and high-net-worth family groups across Alberta.
Having spent most of her career as a leader of the International Live Events Association, including a position on the International Board of Governors, Lisa has been a voice for building the professionalism of the event industry globally. She supported the inception and growth of the Mealshare Aid Foundation as the Chair of the Board for nearly 10 years and is an active member of various business event committees around Calgary.
Holding a Bachelor of Commerce from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary (2008), Lisa mentors several undergraduate students looking to pursue a career in corporate events or marketing.
